Hoesch-Museum
Nach langer Restaurierung und Modernisierung wurde das HOESCH-Museum im Oktober 2005 wiedereröffnet und zeigt mit einer Dauerausstellung 160 Jahre Stahlgeschichte in Dortmund. Die Exponate haben ihren Platz im historischen Portierhaus der Westfalenhütte gefunden und machen es zu einem lebendigen Zentrum und Forum für Industrie-, Technik- und Stadtgeschichte. Der von 235 MEDIA entwickelte interaktive Tisch zeigt Visionen und Konzepte für das „neue Dortmund“. Ein Videoautomat und ein Kino ergänzen die Medieninstallationen, die 235 MEDIA für die Dauerausstellung entwickelt hat.English Text:
After an extensive restoration and modernization, the HOESCH museum was reopened in October 2005 and, with a permanent exhibition, displays 160 years of steel history in Dortmund. The exhibits have found their place in the historic Portierhaus of the Westfalenhütte (Westphalia Steelworks), turning it into a vibrant centre and forum for industry, technology and urban history. The interaktive table developed by 235 Media shows visions and concepts for the "new Dortmund". A video machine and a cinema complement the media installations that 235 MEDIA has developed for the permanent exhibition.
